Payment Policy
This Payment Policy explains how payments are handled when you place an order with MAVRIEN.
Our goal is to provide a secure, clear, and reliable checkout experience. By submitting an order through our website, you agree to the payment practices described below.
1. Accepted Payment Methods
MAVRIEN accepts the payment methods displayed as available during checkout.
Available payment options may vary depending on factors such as your location, billing information, device, currency, and the payment services currently supported by our store.
A payment method appearing elsewhere or having been available for a previous purchase does not guarantee that it will be available for every transaction.
The payment options shown during checkout are the options currently available for your order.
2. Payment Authorization
When you submit an order, your payment method may be subject to authorization by your bank, card issuer, payment processor, or other financial service provider.
Submitting an order does not guarantee that a transaction will be approved.
Authorization may depend on factors controlled by your financial institution or payment provider, including:
- Available funds or credit;
- Billing information;
- Security verification;
- Transaction limits;
- Fraud-prevention controls;
- Card or account restrictions;
- Other authorization requirements established by the payment provider.
MAVRIEN does not control approval or decline decisions made independently by banks, card issuers, or payment providers.
3. When You Are Charged
Depending on the payment method and payment processor involved, your payment may be authorized or charged when your order is submitted.
In some circumstances, an authorization may temporarily appear on your account before the transaction is fully completed.
The exact timing of a charge, authorization, release, or account update can depend on your financial institution and the payment method used.
4. Payment Security
Protecting the integrity of the checkout process is important to MAVRIEN.
Payments are processed using the secure payment infrastructure made available through our e-commerce platform and supported payment providers.
Sensitive payment information is transmitted through the applicable payment processing environment rather than being handled through ordinary customer-support communications.
For your protection, never send full credit or debit card numbers, security codes, banking passwords, or account credentials to MAVRIEN by email.
Our Customer Support team does not need this information to assist with a standard order inquiry.
5. Billing Information
Customers are responsible for providing accurate and complete billing information during checkout.
The information you provide may be used by payment providers to verify and authorize your transaction.
Incorrect information — including an incorrect billing address, cardholder name, expiration information, or other required details — may cause a payment to be declined or require additional verification.
Please review your information carefully before submitting your order.
6. Declined Payments
A transaction may be declined even when the payment method appears valid.
Common reasons can include:
- Insufficient available funds;
- Incorrect payment details;
- Billing address mismatch;
- Transaction limits;
- Security restrictions imposed by the issuer;
- International transaction restrictions;
- Automated fraud-prevention checks;
- An expired or restricted payment method.
If your payment is declined, verify the information entered during checkout.
If the information is correct and the transaction continues to be declined, contact your bank, card issuer, or payment provider for additional information.
For security and privacy reasons, MAVRIEN may not receive the specific reason a financial institution declined a transaction.
7. Pending Transactions and Temporary Authorizations
In some cases, your financial institution may display a transaction as pending even when an order has not been fully completed.
A pending transaction may represent an authorization rather than a finalized charge.
If an authorization is released, the time required for the amount to disappear from your account or become available again is determined by your bank or payment provider.
MAVRIEN cannot control the internal processing times of financial institutions.
8. Duplicate or Multiple Pending Charges
If you attempt checkout more than once, your financial institution may occasionally display multiple pending authorizations.
This does not necessarily mean that multiple completed orders or finalized charges were created.
Before submitting another payment attempt, we recommend checking whether you received an MAVRIEN order confirmation.
If you believe you were actually charged more than once for the same order, contact support@mavrien.com and provide your order number and a description of the issue.
For your security, please redact full payment card numbers and other sensitive financial information from any documents or screenshots sent to Customer Support.
9. Currency and Currency Conversion
Prices displayed by MAVRIEN may be presented in the currency applicable to your shopping experience.
If your payment account is denominated in a different currency from the currency used for the transaction, your bank, card issuer, or payment provider may perform a currency conversion.
Any conversion rate, foreign transaction fee, international processing fee, or similar charge imposed independently by your financial institution is determined by that institution and is not controlled by MAVRIEN.
We recommend contacting your payment provider if you have questions regarding its exchange rates or fees.
10. Taxes and Charges Displayed at Checkout
Where applicable, taxes or other required charges may be calculated and displayed during the checkout process based on the information available for the transaction.
Customers should review the complete order summary before submitting payment.
The amount presented for approval at checkout represents the amount associated with the order based on the applicable information available at that time, excluding any separate charges independently imposed by the customer's financial institution.
11. Promotional Codes and Discounts
Valid promotional codes must generally be entered in the appropriate field during checkout before the order is completed.
Promotions may be subject to:
- Expiration dates;
- Product exclusions;
- Minimum purchase requirements;
- Geographic limitations;
- Usage limits;
- Customer eligibility requirements;
- Restrictions on combining multiple offers.
Unless the terms of a promotion specifically provide otherwise, discounts cannot be guaranteed after an order has already been submitted.
MAVRIEN reserves the right to reject or cancel the application of a promotional code when it has expired, is invalid, is used outside its stated conditions, or results from an obvious technical or promotional error.
12. Order Verification and Fraud Prevention
To protect our customers and our business, transactions may be reviewed for potential fraud, unauthorized payment activity, or other security concerns.
In certain cases, an order may require additional verification before fulfillment.
We may request reasonable information necessary to confirm the legitimacy of an order. Any verification request will be limited to information reasonably relevant to reviewing the transaction.
MAVRIEN will never ask you to provide your full card security code, online banking password, or other private account password by email.
If required verification cannot be completed, or if we reasonably determine that a transaction presents a significant fraud or security risk, the order may be declined or canceled.
13. Orders Flagged for Review
An order confirmation does not necessarily mean that a transaction has completed all security or payment verification procedures.
Orders identified for additional review may be temporarily held while the transaction is evaluated.
If action is required from you, we may contact you using the information provided with your order.
Failure to respond to a legitimate verification request may prevent us from completing the order.
14. Unauthorized Payment Activity
If you believe a payment method was used on MAVRIEN without your authorization, contact your bank or payment provider promptly using the official contact information provided by that institution.
You may also contact us at support@mavrien.com so we can review any relevant order information available within our systems.
Do not send sensitive financial credentials when reporting suspected unauthorized activity.
15. Refunds to the Original Payment Method
When a refund is approved under our applicable Return & Refund Policy, it will generally be issued through the appropriate payment channel associated with the original transaction whenever technically possible.
Once a refund has been submitted, the time required for the funds to appear on your account can vary depending on the bank, card issuer, or payment provider.
The processing period used by your financial institution is outside MAVRIEN's direct control.
A refund confirmation from MAVRIEN indicates that the applicable refund transaction has been initiated or processed on our side; your financial institution may still require additional time to post it to your account.
16. Payment Disputes and Chargebacks
If you believe there is a problem with a MAVRIEN transaction or order, we encourage you to contact support@mavrien.com first so that our team has an opportunity to review the issue and provide available assistance.
Nothing in this policy limits any rights you may have to contact your bank, card issuer, payment provider, or exercise rights available under applicable law.
If a payment dispute or chargeback is initiated, MAVRIEN may provide the relevant payment provider or financial institution with appropriate transaction and order records necessary to respond to the dispute.
Such records may include information relating to the order, payment, shipment, delivery, customer communications, and other relevant transaction documentation.
17. Payment Processing Errors
Although we work to maintain accurate checkout functionality, technical or processing errors may occasionally occur.
If an obvious payment error affects a transaction, MAVRIEN may take reasonable steps to investigate and correct the issue.
Depending on the circumstances, this may include contacting the customer, canceling an affected transaction, correcting an authorization, or issuing an appropriate refund.
We will not intentionally retain funds for an order that has been properly canceled and is entitled to reimbursement under our applicable policies.
18. Changes to This Payment Policy
MAVRIEN may update this Payment Policy when necessary to reflect changes in our checkout systems, payment providers, security practices, business operations, or applicable requirements.
When we make changes, the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page may be revised.
The version published on our website will represent the current Payment Policy applicable to future transactions, subject to applicable law.
